Philadelphia Office Digitizes Annual Toy Drive

For nearly a decade, employees in STV’s Philadelphia office have hosted an in-person toy drive benefitting the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Camden, NJ. However, with so many employees currently working from home, the drive’s organizers – Angy Morales, administrative assistant, and Autumn Gargiule, engineering specialist – managed to keep the tradition alive virtually for the 2020 holiday season.

To participate, a link to an online wish list was shared in the Philadelphia office, which directed employees to a major retailer working in partnership with the Salvation Army. 

“With so many people in need this year, it was great for us to still be able to participate in a safe and easy way,” Angy said. “A few clicks, and donated items shipped directly to the Kroc Center.”

Each year during the holiday season, the Camden Salvation Army Kroc Center not only provides children with gifts, but also prepares meals and grocery items for local families
