As part of a $20 million five-year contract, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) selected STV to provide design-build project support. STV will provide services that include project procurement assistance, contract implementation, quality assurance, design, and construction management services.

The NYSDOT is responsible for the development and operation of highways, railroads, mass transit systems, ports, waterways and aviation facilities in New York State. The transportation network includes more than 110,000 miles of highways, 17,000 bridges, a 5,000-mile rail network, 12 major public and private ports and 456 public and private aviation facilities.

As part of this contract, STV will develop a technical training program and training materials to instruct NYSDOT employees on any changes to design-build procurement policies and procedures.
