Nathan HowellNEW YORK, NY – STV, a professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Nathan Howell, AIA, NCARB, LSSYB, has joined the firm as vice president and market sector leader for health and well-being within the firm’s national buildings group. In this role, Howell will oversee a variety of healthcare projects while also serving as a subject matter expert for mental and behavioral health.

Howell is an architect, project manager and medical planner with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare architecture. His area of expertise lies in the design behavioral healthcare facilities and conducting environment of care analyses, and he has successfully led multifaceted teams in delivering state-of-the-art, evidence-based facilities across the nation. Prior to joining STV, Howell founded and led the mental and behavioral health practice at a Dallas-based international architecture firm, where his team successfully  designed and opened over 1,200 beds in less than five years.

Howell received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has held multiple committee positions with the Mental Health Connection of Tarrant County.
