As part of a task order contract, STV provided construction management-as-agent services on behalf of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) for exterior refurbishments and renovations at Kingsborough Houses. The development comprises of 16 low-rise apartment buildings and the Kingsborough Extension, a 24-story senior citizens’ building.

Renovations included façade repairs, asbestos abatement, brick replacement, repointing, parapet replacement and reroofing, as well as installation of a new water tank at Kingsborough Extension. To minimize the impact of construction on the residents, construction was phased to allow work on multiple buildings simultaneously. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
