Charlotte Office Off to the Races at Corporate Cup

For the eighth time, more than 20 employees from STV's Charlotte office came together to participate in the BB&T Corporate Cup, an annual 5K and half marathon race. In total, 20 staff members ran the 5K (3.1 miles), and two participated in the half marathon (13.1 miles). The races' proceeds benefited the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

Manny Seetharamu, engineering specialist, ran the half marathon and commented, "This was my first race ever. It was a good first experience running on the main streets of Charlotte: contributing to both employee health and well-being with a social cause.”  Stephanie Phillips, engineering specialist, organized the STV team, and Eric Skorupski, graphic designer, designed the group’s T-shirts.

All participants in this year's races raised a total of $220,000 for the YMCA's annual campaign.
