STV provided architectural design, civil engineering and construction administration services for the design-build construction of this 90,000-square-foot women’s correctional facility. The new three-story building houses 300 female inmates, with the ability to double in size if need be. The project involved close coordination and communication with the City of Chicopee, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office.
