St. Ephrem School K780 Pre-K Center

Built in 1922, the St. Ephrem School has been serving the borough of Brooklyn, NY for almost 100 years. When the New York City School Authority (NYCSCA) selected a portion of the building for use in the city’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, STV performed full renovation designs.

After a detailed regulation and construction evaluation, STV provided architectural and structural plans, along with strategies for new warming pantries, electrical, and plumbing systems for the 31,350-sf building. The updated facility features 15 pre-K classrooms that give up to 270 students a space to learn.
