To create more universal pre-K facilities throughout New York City, the New York City School Construction Authority contracted with STV to perform construction management services to transform a retail shopping center space into the Richmond Pre-K Center at Forest Avenue in Staten Island.

As construction manager, STV coordinated with the project designer, general contractor, and sub-contractors to create an educational space consisting of 10 classrooms, an indoor gym, full kitchen, and office spaces for administration, nurse, and custodians within the 16,000-square-foot space.
