Needing to remedy a refined products pipeline under the Delaware River navigation channel, STV's client chose to replace the crossing with a new steel, heavy-wall, 12-inch-diameter pipe. The STV team provided services to evaluate the directionally drilled crossing and subsequent engineering design and construction services for the installation. The firm also provided significant environmental permitting services for this project, securing approvals, reviews and permits from 32 federal, state and local agencies—all within the constraints of a tight schedule.
