For nearly two decades, STV has provided services in support of the procurement of new railcars and locomotives used on NJ TRANSIT's commuter rail service. As part of this long-term task, the firm performed design reviews and provided test and inspection oversight for the ALP-46 electric locomotive; the PL-42AC diesel locomotive; and the Comet V single-level, push-pull car.
