As part of Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s $2.5 billion capital investment program, a new entrance roadway, elevated structure, and pedestrian tunnels are being built adjacent to the terminal building to meet future growth. The new entrance will provide added capacity and make way for the future terminal expansion at the airport.

While construction takes place over the course of four years, airport patrons will continue to travel through the construction site via car and bus, as well as by walking between the terminal and the hourly parking deck. STV was contracted by the airport to provide a traffic analysis for motorists and pedestrians, traffic control sequencing, and a 3D rendering video of the sequencing.
