Allegheny Access Pipeline Project
With an initial capacity to transport up to 85,000 barrels per day, Allegheny Access pipeline project delivers refined products from the Midwest to eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. STV provided design and comprehensive construction-phase services for an approximately 160-mile-long natural gas liquids pipeline between Tiffin, Ohio, and Vanport, Pennsylvania.
The two-phase project included 80 miles of new line installed with 12-inch piping and repair of the remaining portions as necessary. Phase II included increasing the rate between Cedar Point and Mogadore in Ohio to 80,000 barrels per day, and installing a new, 79-mile line from Mogadore to Vanport. A number of facility upgrades were also necessary. STV provided a front-end engineering design study, estimates, environmental and right-of-way permitting, final engineering design, and construction-phase services.
