STV Hires Vice President, Operations Director of its NE Region

David Isabelle, P.E., has joined STV as vice president and operations director of the Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Division’s Northeast Region. Isabelle will be responsible for that group’s project and financial performance in the region, as well as its resource management, quality, and safety initiatives.

“David brings more than 25 years of management and design engineering experience to STV,” said Rich Amodei, STV senior vice president and the firm’s T&I Northeast regional manager. “He is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of successful growth and expansion. He will be a valuable leader on our team.”

Previously, Isabelle served as senior vice president and Northeast regional team leader for a national firm that provides planning, environmental, design, construction engineering and inspection, and right of way services for surface transportation, rail, transit, and aviation clients. Isabelle has supported the design and construction of numerous large-scale assignments, including the I-91/I-95/Route 34 Interchange reconstruction in New Haven, CT, and improvements to I-95 and US 1 in Norwalk, CT.

Isabelle received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut and is a registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. He serves as a steward for the industry via his professional affiliations with the American Council of Engineering Companies (Transportation Committee Member,) American Road and Transportation Builders Association, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
