Professional Development Seminars
To help you hone your skills and grow within the company, STV has a comprehensive Project Management Training program that is taught by seasoned industry veterans, both from within the company and outside. We offer in-house professional development seminars on such important topics as project management, general management, resident engineering, quality, legal/risk management, marketing, and software training.
Keeping your registration or certification current is important to your success. We use online training with RedVector.com, a board-approved provider of online continuing education courses for architects, engineers, contractors, land surveyors, interior designers, landscape architects, and others, to make the process more convenient.
Continuing Education Program – Drexel University On-Line
Through a collaboration between STV and Drexel University, our employees can earn their bachelor’s or master’s degree or a certificate in any of Drexel's distinguished online programs. They also get a 10% reduction off the regular on-campus tuition rate. As an added benefit, immediate family members of employees are also eligible for similar tuition reductions for the online programs. Delivered fully online, Drexel's programs are highly interactive and are designed for working professionals seeking to earn a degree.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
You can also go to the college of your choice. Our Tuition Reimbursement Program provides financial reimbursement to full-time employees for many job-related college courses.
Professional Membership Dues
Employees are reimbursed 100% of the costs for professional society dues for one membership. With your manager’s approval, memberships in additional organizations will be reimbursed at 50%. Expenses associated with attending professional society meetings on the employee’s own time will also be reimbursed.
Professional License Fees
STV will reimburse 100% of the cost for professional licensing fees in your home state. Licensing fees for other states are reimbursed if you are asked to maintain the license for STV business purposes.
