Secant Medical, Inc. is a biomedical textiles engineering and manufacturing company specializing in custom-developed, implantable fabric structures used in surgical procedures. Secant contracted with STV to convert a warehouse with decades of neglect into a signature technical center/corporate headquarters that promotes Secant’s leading-edge technology and attracts both future clients and top-notch staff while holding to a tight budget.

The new center houses production areas, conference rooms and office spaces, and the design features class 10,000 clean rooms with tight temperature, humidity and pressurization controls as well as offices for Secant’s executive staff. Value engineering helped to reduce building costs to maintain budget while meeting the client’s functional needs and giving them room to grow. By building the new tech center, Secant has consolidated operations, increased energy efficiency and enhanced the quality of its  products.
