STV oversaw the renovation and relocation of the Education Development Center into its headquarters in Waltham, MA. The firm provided comprehensive project management oversight, beginning with support throughout the preconstruction phase to make sure that the new facility would meet its schedule and budget goals. STV engaged and managed the construction team, along with a host of other specialty design consultants, while also performing the evaluation of cost estimates, review of all programming, and design, value engineering, and furniture, fixtures and equipment, and move management services.

The 120,500-square-foot headquarters houses nearly 420 employees and features a highly collaborative and open space that includes a café, multiple breakout and soft seating areas, and state-of-the-art audio visual systems.  Based on a sustainable design model, the new space meets high efficiency engineering standards while maintaining the goals of aesthetics and space flexibility and functionality.
