STV provided design and construction oversight for the retrofit of a former dental hygiene instructional space totaling 4,500 square feet in Building 600 at Cabrillo Community College. The space now accommodates new chemistry and biology laboratories, support spaces and two large lecture classrooms. The technology throughout the building has been updated, including chemistry labs with fume hoods to support the needs of modern-day chemistry education. The support spaces are used as preparation areas for the science laboratories. The retrofit provided greater availability to science classrooms and updated chemistry and biology facilities at the college.
