As part of a joint venture, STV provided architectural, engineering and construction support services to replace the existing correctional facility in Valhalla, NY. The project included the demolition of existing cellblocks as well as construction of a two-structure, 280-bed penitentiary housing facility. A careful construction phasing plan was used to maintain the uninterrupted function and security of the existing facilities.
