STV, in joint venture, was involved in the design and construction of the East Parking Garage at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The garage holds 1,600 cars on five framed levels connected by two 76-foot diameter helical ramps, which allow controlled entry and rapid exit. The garage is constructed of a structural steel frame in conjunction with a precast, prestressed floor system. The result is a clean, low building that will also function as a pedestal for future development of air rights.
