Shire chose STV Construction as the design-builder for its $37 million U.S. headquarters facility. STV provided design services and served as the CM/builder for two buildings totaling 220,000 sf, an inter-connecting pedestrian bridge and a data center. The two buildings required a gut renovation, plus systems and interiors. The final design reinforced Shire’s culture of teamwork and collaboration by providing plentiful meeting rooms for teams as well as common spaces to facilitate discussion and interaction among employees.
