STV oversaw preliminary through final design for the adaptive re-use of an 11-story, 70,000-sf historic Maryland Trust office building in downtown Baltimore. The structure, built in 1900, has been transformed into a 99-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel. By adhering to historic preservation guidelines, the developer received tax credits for the renovation of this building.
