Susquehanna University contracted with STV to renovate the food service operation and update the interior architecture of its student center. The project had four main goals: to invigorate the experience of students using the building, to create an inviting dining facility, to provide better circulation and configuration of the food service venues and to create flexible spaces within the dining and lounge areas. The $6 million project was designed to allow all construction to occur over a summer break. This project won an Education Design Excellence award in the American School & University Architectural Portfolio of 2006 Outstanding Buildings: Interior Renovations category.
