STV provided architectural and engineering design for Montgomery County Community College's new $15 million, 61,000-sf Advanced Technology Center (ATC). Accommodating the Humanities, Social Science, Math/Science/Advanced Technologies, Information Technology, and Business/Computer Science divisions, the four-story building provides a collaborative learning environment where the humanities and sciences are brought together within a facility that promotes an interdisciplinary approach to education. Adaptable for use as a reception hall, the atrium features a coffee bar and interactive reception area with a touchscreen and plasma monitor for directing visitors.
