STV was asked to design a new lighting system for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that would eliminate the previous problems of lamp burnouts and tripping hazards for visitors. The firm designed this new system using luminaires, which require little maintenance and utilize state-of-the-art ceramic metal halide long-life lamps.
