Bridges | Design and ConstructionNocatee Parkway (St. Johns and Duval Counties, FL)
The Nocatee Parkway is a limited-access freeway that provides access to the Town of Nocatee, a 14,000-acre master-planned “new town” that spans the northeast portion of St. Johns County and the southeastern corner of Duval County. STV/Ralph Whitehead Associates provided design and post-design services for eight bridges and numerous other structures for the two-phase development, which recently opened to traffic. The road provides easy access to Jacksonville, I-95 and the new Florida 9B for residents of Nocatee and elsewhere. The parkway is also a critical hurricane evacuation route for area residents.
