STV provided architectural design and engineering services for a $15 million design-build project of a 400-member Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), which consists of a 63,000-sf training center, an 8,600-sf organizational maintenance shop and site improvements. The structures are of permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations and concrete floor slabs. The AFRC was designed to meet all Antiterrorism Force Protection standards. The project, which provides state-of-the-art training facilities for the U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard units, was part of the U.S. Army’s Base Realignment and Closure program.
