STV provided architectural, interior and engineering design services for the complete renovation of Boozel Dining Hall at Slippery Rock University. The firm's design transformed the outdated structure into a state-of-the-art dining hall, complete with a Brazilian Churrasco grill as a centerpiece. The addition of a 2,000-sf lobby with glass atrium provided space for a take-out station and queuing area. The newly renovated facility features eight food stations with open kitchens, booth seating, wireless access and a campus information kiosk. Other new amenities include high-top bar tables with stools and diner-style countertops with electrical outlets for laptops. The $7.5 million renovation has been extremely well received by the campus community.
