Architectural DesignNJ Motor Vehicle Commission Customer Service Facility (Freehold Township, NJ)
STV provided complete architectural design services for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s (NJMVC) new customer service facility in Freehold Township. The 7,000-sf prototype features 15 service windows, 10 driver testing terminals, two training rooms, and expanded customer waiting areas and parking. A sweeping glass window wall in the front ensures customers can see the entire operation before they enter. Environmentally-friendly features include recycled rubber flooring, abundant natural light, white roofing to reflect heat and automatic sensors on lights and bathroom fixtures. STV also provided electrical and HVAC engineering and construction administration for the project. Additional NJMVC buildings utilizing STV’s prototype design will be opened in Flemington, South Brunswick, Randolph and Lakewood.
