StructuralMacMillan Bloedel Conversion to Cruise Ship Terminal (Baltimore , MD)
The Maryland Port Administration chose STV as the project’s engineer/architect to redesign and transform an existing lumber warehouse on the Baltimore waterfront into a dedicated welcome facility for cruise lines. The resulting 60,000-sf facility welcomed 28 cruises in 2006. According to state officials, the new terminal is expected to create 280 jobs and have an economic impact of $90 million.
