At a cost of $450 million, the four-lane Governor Casey Highway project was built to connect I-81 and Route 6, relieve traffic congestion and improve safety in northern Pennsylvania. Having evaluated corridor locations and associated environmental impacts to select the preferred route, STV also oversaw 14 construction sections and verified that commitments made in the environmental impact statement were kept.
