STV provided engineering services for the replacement of non-national highway system bridges throughout Massachusetts, including the Bardwell's Ferry Bridge, a single-lane lenticular truss bridge over the Deerfield River between Shelburne and Conway. The bridge, the longest single-span lenticular bridge in Massachusetts, was upgraded to a capacity of 10 tons, which required stripping and repainting the wrought-iron truss skeleton and replacing the wooden deck with African Ekki wood.
