The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority is converting its toll collection booths to allow for the electronic collection of tolls at freeway speeds. STV provided construction management services for four tolling plazas at three separate locations with three separate contractors to retrofit the existing booths as well as make necessary highway improvements, such as adding new lanes, widening shoulders and constructing new bridges. All three projects were completed under extremely tight deadlines.
