STV provided overall management as well as programming, architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical and industrial engineering design for this state-of-the-art facility, a training center that prepares emergency vehicle drivers for a variety of real-life situations. The facility includes a defensive driving network, a skid recovery area, a 1,000-foot speedway and a situation simulation village area designed as a typical city neighborhood. It also includes three separate indoor/outdoor shooting ranges, a tear gas training facility and special training rooms with interactive electronic monitoring. Security features include perimeter fencing, gates, lighting intrusion alarms and electronic building security.
