JetBlue Airways built a six-level parking garage with 1,500 spaces for its terminal as part of the airline's expansion program at JFK International Airport. As lead designer for the design-build team, STV provided architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services, as well as construction administration. The firm faced several challenges, including tight schedule constraints and having to work in an active airport environment with considerable traffic and security considerations.
