STV’s dedicated Capital Improvement Programs (CIP) department has complete in-house capabilities ranging from surveying and scoping, to design and bidding, to construction administration and project closeout. Over the past ten years we have worked on more than 3,000 CIP projects within a wide range of budgets. Our portfolio of CIP projects includes schools, justice and correctional facilities, municipalities, psychiatric centers, postal facilities and firehouses.

We use sophisticated proprietary software to conduct comprehensive building conditions assessment surveys in the field. Our building conditions assessment reports contain prioritized recommendations for improvements with budget forecasts for all proposed projects. STV has the expertise to provide full design services for virtually every kind of CIP project, including forensic investigations; exterior and interior modernizations and rehabilitations; historic restoration and preservation; legalization of public assembly spaces; building systems improvements; fire alarm upgrades; and flood elimination. We are also well versed in obtaining approvals for regulatory requirements.
